Special Presentations for Your Group or Organization


The "Getting to the End of Violence" presentations provide information about the National Violence Reduction Initiative (NVRI) including a description of the initiative, its goals, and the new "social technology" which is the foundation for the NVRI.

Programs

The "Getting to the End of Violence" programs are offered in four configurations:

  Introduction
20 - 30 minutes
This presentation provides a brief introduction to the National Violence Reduction Initiative. Ideal for Rotary, Kiwanis, and other service groups. The program includes basic handouts including information about web resources.
  Orientation
1-hour
This presentation provides the information found in the Orientation program and adds additional information about the new "social technology" which is the foundation for the NVRI. The program includes additional handouts and information about web resources.
  Half-Day
3-hour
This multi-media presentation provides a more in-depth exploration of the National Violence Reduction Initiative and the new "social technology" which is the foundation for the NVRI. The program includes a reference folder with access to web resources.
  Full-Day
6-hour
This multi-media presentation provides an in-depth look at the National Violence Reduction Initiative and the new "social technology" which provides the foundation for the work of the NVRI. The program is interactive and included participant exercises. Participants leave with practical skills they can use immediately. A comprehensive resource package is included, with a reference CD, worksheets, printed reference information, and access to web resources.

To book a presentation for your group or organization, please us. We'll be happy to schedule one of our staff or Ambassadors to make a presentations for you.

Using a Program to Generate Income and/or
Build Awareness for Your Group

Faith groups, social service and relief agencies, and others can use the half-day and full-day programs as income-generating, fund-raising, and/or awareness-building events when they sponsor the programs for their members of the general public. We provide marketing and public relations materials and a full web page for your event. If you would like to explore sponsoring a program, please us with the name or your organization and contact information.

Pricing

Generally, the Introduction and Orientation programs for nonprofit and government organizations are provided at no charge. This does not include travel expenses which must be reimbursed at cost. The program cost for businesses and other organizations is negotiated.

There is a charge for Half-Day and Full-Day presentations. These vary according to the type and size of organization with nonprofit and government organizations receiving a significant discount. We'll be happy to provide you with a quote for your organization. Please us with the name of your organization and your contact information.

The "Getting to the End of Violence" presentations are intended for a broad range of audiences, including:

  • Local, state, and federal government organizations.
  • Public and private schools and universities.
  • Faith groups.
  • Advocacy groups.
  • Businesses.
  • Social service and relief agencies.
