Host Your Own Workshop or Series

Just About Anyone or Any Group Can Host

Would you like to bring the free PAR in Practice workshop to your home, workplace, faith group, or other setting? You can by hosting a workshop or a series of workshops. There's no charge for the workshop or workshop series, and the National Violence Reduction Initiative provides:

		The presenter*
		The multimedia presentation
		All materials
		Presentation equipment (computer, projector, screen)
		Information on the "End of Violence" web site
		Templates for creating your own promotional materials
		*NOTE: If there is no qualified presenter in your area, the cost of travel and lodging must be provided by the host or hosting organization.

Requirements

There is no cost for the workshop or series. The following simple requirements apply to hosted "PAR in Practice" events:

	•	Each workshop must have a minimum of ten participants. There is no maximum limit.
	•	The host is responsible for providing a public address (sound) system for workshops that require such a system.
	•	For public workshops, selling, recruiting, or engaging in most commercial, political, or religious activities may not take place during or in conjunction with the workshop. Check with your NVRI representative for more information.

Please note that the NVRI reserves the right to deny any request for a hosted PAR in Practice program with our without cause.
